We have recently started to work on the deployment of a few servers on Amazon Web Services, using EC2 and S3. The objective is to have a highly available cluster that can scale up and down easily, having an N+M model for frontends and backends.

This will be an interesting experience since we will be starting the project from scratch and will aim to take it all the way to PCI DSS certification, so stayed tuned for more!
